NETDOOR invited to participate in MS Broadband Coalition Committee

Added: March 04, 2011 @ 5:05pm

Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour's office has invited NETDOOR's President, Marshall Morgan, to represent Mississippi's Internet Solution Providers as a committee member of the Mississippi Broadband Connect Coalition (MBCC). The focus of the non-profit public-private partnership will be to produce a comprehensive statewide plan for improving digital literacy, increasing access to broadband, and enabling greater adoption of broadband in the state before the end of 2011.

Business owners, small and large, have increasing government requirements to utilize the Internet for reporting, doing business with state and federal entities, and other initiatives. Therefore, it is critical that all stakeholders have a voice in the development process. If you have ideas that will help Mississippi move forward in this increasingly digital age, please contact Marshall at marshall@netdoor.com or 601-969-1434 x228.

For more information on the MBCC, please view the Governor's press release regarding this grant at the link below: http://www.governorbarbour.com/news/2010/sep/9.27.10barbourannouncesbroadbandgrant.html
